Nov. 21, 2008 — When Cody Linley got voted off "Dancing With The Stars" this week, it might have meant the end of the line for Julianne Hough as well on the ABC series.

Julianne’s been a professional dance partner for two winners in previous seasons — Apolo Ohno and Helios Castroneves — and she’ll be back for this season’s finale, but after that, she’s putting her efforts into her music career.

"I won’t be on ‘Dancing’ this spring season," she wrote in her fancast.com blog. "I don’t know about the fall. Maybe, maybe not. We’ll see. I’m definitely going to focus on the music. My first album was a learning experience, and I can’t wait for the next one. I feel like the writing and producing will be even better, really awesome."

In the meantime, Julianne’s planning to leave Los Angeles once the season closes.

"I’m presenting at the [American Music Awards]," she noted. "I’m doing some last-minute stuff. Then packing up my clothes and shipping everything back to my place in Nashville."

Julianne will spend Thanksgiving with her family in Las Vegas, and she’ll end the year with a performance at the annual New Year’s Eve Peach Drop in downtown Atlanta.
