Dec. 2, 2008 — Keith Urban has been working steadily on a new album since the summer tour schedule ended, and he’s now ready to release it March 31.

No title has yet been designated for the CD, although the first single, "Sweet Thing," is already in the Top 25 on the national country charts. It’s not clear whether Keith’s duet with Brad Paisley, "Start A Band," might also be part of the project.

Naturally, Keith plans to follow the album with a tour, destined to begin in May.

"We intend to give people their money’s worth, for sure" he says. "We’re looking forward to seeing fans’ reactions to the new material, and we’re seeing how we can put a few new twists on some older material. We’ll play for as long as the venues will let us."

Keith has a bevy of opening acts enlisted for his tour, including Taylor Swift, Sugarland, Dierks Bentley, Glen Campbell, Lady Antebellum and the Zac Brown Band.
