Dec. 18, 2008 — Jack Ingram’s concerts have plenty of octane, but as the year winds down, he’s looking for a more low-key way to spend December.

"The main thing I'm trying to do now with Christmas, which I'm excited about, is start our own traditions with my own immediate family — my wife and three children, now that they're of age to get properly excited about Santa Claus and Christmas," Jack told Dial-Global. "It's a lot of fun for me just to hang out, get off the road and really "park it" in Austin, Texas, and hang out with my family and enjoy that time. That's the biggest commodity I have, time with my kids."

Among the shows Jack has on his itinerary after the holidays is the Black Tie & Boots Inaugural Ball on Jan. 19. The bill, according to Pollstar, includes Cross Canadian Ragweed, Joe Ely, Neal McCoy, Charlie Robison, Bruce Robison, Kelly Willis, Sunny Sweeney and Asleep At The Wheel.
