Dec. 23, 2008 Several of country musics biggest stars Keith Urban, Luke Bryan and Rascal Flatts Joe Don Rooney are seeing the rite of Christmas as a father for the first time in their lives.
Each of the families has been looking forward to their childs reaction for months:
Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman will provide daughter Sunday Urban with "a lot of hugs and kisses and Christmas carols," Nicole told People magazine. Oh and a turtle puppet. "She loves puppets!"
Luke and Caroline Bryans son, Bo, is already taken by the glitter and tinsel that accompanies Christmas. "Weve set aside some time to go ride him around and let him look at Christmas lights for the first time," Luke told the national radio show GAC Nights: Live From Nashville. "I walked by a tree this morning, and he just kind of started staring at it, so I let him catch a good look at it. Its gonna be fun. You know, hes under a year now, so next year [is] when hell really be tearing into all the presents. Its not gonna do anything but get better."
Joe Don Rooney and Tiffany Fallon have refocused their attention almost exclusively on their little one. "Tiff and I aren't going to buy anything for each other at all," he told Dial-Global. "It's all about the baby this year. It's Jagger's first Christmas. We've got the grandparents comin' in. I can't wait to hold him by the Christmas tree [on] Christmas Day. It's gonna be great."
