"Weve been on the Opry ever since weve been in the business," Troy Gentry told the national radio show GAC Nights: Live From Nashville. "We always try to make it our business to get in there and play the Opry. Thats probably the next big milestone Eddie and I would like to accomplish is to become members of the Grand Ole Opry. Eddies had a lot of history there with his father growing up. His dad was a big dreamer of playing the Opry and making it big in the business, so Eddies really hoping to accomplish that, being a member."
The duo will be back on the Opry Friday along with Pam Tillis, Lorrie Morgan, Connie Smith, John Conlee and the Oak Ridge Boys. Theyll also appear Saturday on GAC in an encore presentation of Opry Live. The episode features Kellie Pickler and Lady Antebellum, airing at 9 p.m. ET.
