April 20, 2009 — Jimmy Wayne has a Top 20 hit at the moment with "I Will," and he’s planning to release a third single this summer from his album Do You Believe Me Now. But he’s also looking ahead at making his third project, and he’s trying to take a big-picture view as he maps it out.
"Since we have enough to think about in our everyday lives with the economy in the pits that it's in, I feel like the theme of this CD should allow us to have somewhere to escape," Jimmmy says. "I have already written some up-tempo songs that just simply sound great. I'm not writing the crossword puzzles, just good listening music with a groove that makes you wanna move!"
Jimmy will be on the move a lot this summer. He’s set to hit the road with Brad Paisley and Dierks Bentley on the American Saturday Night Tour, beginning in Charlotte, N.C., June 5.
