July 6, 2009 Sugarland will kick off a new GAC series, Soundstage, which features some of country's biggest artists, including Kenny Chesney, Martina McBride and Trace Adkins.
Shot at Grainger Studio in Chicago, Sugarlands Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush turn in an honest and emotional performance, treating viewers to hits including "Baby Girl," "Stay" and their latest, "Joey," as well as a few surprise covers. The duo's episode premieres on GAC Sunday, July 12 at 8 p.m. Eastern.
Soundstage originally aired from 1974-1985, before returning in 2003.
"GAC is thrilled to be able to offer Soundstage to our viewers," says Sarah Trahern, senior VP of programming for GAC. "It remains a groundbreaking television concert series and will give fans a chance to see some of country musics top stars perform in an intimate setting."
