Julianne Hough: Country’s Beyonce?

July 24, 2009 — She sings, she dances, she acts — Julianne Hough does it all, just like another fellow entertainer whose multi-faceted career she aspires to have.

"I want to be like Beyoncé!" Julianne tells USA Today.

Currently on tour with George Strait, Julianne’s also working on her second album, due in 2010. She’s on hiatus from "Dancing With The Stars" but she’s still hoofing it in the upcoming remake of the movie "Footloose."

"It’s hard for me because I like to do everything 100%, and for me, trying to juggle two careers now - almost three - I hate to do things halfway, and that’s how I’ve been feeling." But, she adds, "I’ve wanted to act and sing and dance, and just entertain my whole life."

Earlier this week, Julianne enjoyed the milestone of her 21st birthday. She celebrated with boyfriend, singer Chuck Wicks.

"We went wakeboarding and stuff and just kind of hung out," she says. "That’s good enough for me. I don’t need a big shindig."
