August 10, 2009 — Brad Paisley is one of those rare entertainers whose music feels right at home, no matter the venue — whether it’s a Windy City bar or The White House.
The website countrymusicchicago.com reports that on Tuesday, August 18, Brad will perform a special acoustic set at Joe’s Bar in Chicago as part of country radio station US99’s "Eight Shows at Joes" series.
But the weekend before that, he can been seen in the venue of all venues – The White House. Brad’s July 21 performance was part of First Lady Michelle Obama’s program created to encourage arts and arts education. Brad was joined by Alison Krauss and Charley Pride, who also shared their talents with the invitation-only White House audience.
