Sept. 15, 2009 Jason Aldean has taken quite a ride on his "Big Green Tractor," planting the song at No. 1 for an impressive four weeks in a row.
With its sweet sentiment and winsome melody, its the first single to stay at the top that long since Brad Paisleys "Letter To Me" occupied the No. 1 slot for four weeks in February 2008.
"This is crazy," Jason says. "The guys I've always looked up to my heroes are the ones who are supposed to be sitting up there at the top. Man, I feel like I'm constantly thanking country radio and the fans, but they truly are a huge part of the reason I'm having such a great year. It motivates me to go out and work harder than I ever have before. The fans and all their energy and support are fueling everything I'm doing right now. It feels incredible!"
While the singles charts are calculated, in part or in whole, by radio play, Jason can also hear the song on thousands of cell phones. In fact, "Big Green Tractor" is No. 1 on the Billboard Ringscan chart. Its the first country recording ever to earn that recognition.
