Julianne Hough Knows About Winning

Sept. 29, 2008 — Julianne Hough is partnered with actor Cody Linley for the new season of "Dancing With The Stars," and Cody probably couldn’t have asked for a better chance at coming out on top. After all, Julianne’s been part of the winning couple twice in previous seasons, sharing the top honors with Apolo Anton Ohno and with Helio Castroneves.

Both Apolo and Helio had some intangible qualities that helped them reach the winners circle.

"It's the coordination and the determination," she told the national radio show GAC Nights: Live From Nashville. "They push themselves so hard because they know how hard they can push themselves, and when they have a goal in mind, they go for it. And I totally admire that. I think that's one of the best things that people could have is motivation."

Among the celebrities still in the running this season are Lance Bass, Toni Braxton, Cloris Leachman and Kim Kardashian. Meanwhile, Julianne is doubling up on her own celebrity quotient. In addition to her reality-series presence, she’s also got her second country single in circulation: "My Hallelujah Song."
