Sept. 30, 2008 Dierks Bentleys new single, "Feel That Fire," is the first piece of music hes released from his next album, one thats taken longer than any of his previous CDs to make.
The album is due early next year, and its one in which he took some chances musically.
"This time around I tried to bring the element of failure back into it and really try to do it in different ways," he told the national radio show GAC Nights: Live From Nashville. "Its going to be way more expensive than any record Ive ever made. And Ive got to credit my producer and engineer just with being able to stick with it, because [Ive] done a lot of things twice and three times over, and Feel That Fire Ive probably recorded five times. Theres so many different versions of every song, but I think its gonna be the best record, cause I just really put this much time into it."
Dierks has his third annual Miles & Music For Kids motorcycle ride planned for Sunday. In addition to previously announced participants Tim McGraw and John Rich, hes added Jamey Johnson, NASCAR driver Kyle Petty and members of Lady Antebellum, Halfway To Hazard and the Warren Brothers to the lineup.
Dierks and his wife, Cassidy, are expecting a baby any day; hopefully the delivery and the race wont conflict.
