Q: Does Kenny Chesney plan on continuing his "Poets and Pirates" tour, since his accident that happened in South Carolina?
(Lisa, Fort Valley, GA)

A: Lisa, Kenny Chesney was determined not to disappoint any of his fans at the show where he was injured, or over the rest of his tour. So he vowed he'd make the next weekend of shows and he did that, appearing on stage in Austin the very next week. With the help of some powerful painkillers and a doctor standing by backstage, he put on a great 100-minute show. So, barring any setbacks with his broken toes and badly sprained foot and ankle, Kenny will not miss any shows this summer.

Q: My husband and I are huge fans of Jason Michael Carroll and we have been to four of his concerts. Each time he mentions releasing a new album. Could you tell me when?
(Chasity, Lexington, TN)

A: Chasity, there's no release date set for a new album because they're still releasing songs from his debut release, Waitin' In The Country. His current single, "I Can Sleep When I'm Dead," is the third release from that CD.

Q: Why don't you play Van Zant's videos anymore?
(Karen, Supply, NC)

A: Karen, it was announced a month or so back that Van Zant had lost their record contract, so they haven't had any new releases for awhile. I'm sure you might see one of their clips from time to time, but artists that aren't making new music and releasing fresh singles tend not to be in demand on video channels. If their stuff is being played at GAC, just do a search for them and you'll find out if and when their past clips might appear.
