Blake Shelton will join forces with Luke Bryan to host the 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards. This year's show will mark Blake's third consecutive turn hosting the Awards and Luke's first time hosting a LIVE televised event.

Reigning Female Vocalist of the Year Miranda Lambert receives her seventh nod for Female Vocalist of the Year. If she wins, it will be her fourth consecutive trophy in that category.
Carrie Underwood receives her eighth consecutive nomination for Female Vocalist of the Year. She has previously won this category in 2006, 2007 and 2008.
This is co-host Luke Bryan's first Entertainer of the Year nomination.
Kelly Clarkson is nominated for Vocal Event of the Year for "Dont Rush" with Vince Gill. She won this category last year for "Dont You Wanna Stay" with Jason Aldean.
Big & Rich receives their sixth nod for Vocal Duo of the Year. They were previously nominated in this category in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008.
