The 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards will air LIVE from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 3 at 8 p.m. live ET/delayed PT on CBS. Hosted for the 13th time by superstar Reba McEntire -- with co-host Blake Shelton -- the night honors country music's top talent as well as the industry's hottest emerging artists. Superstar Women of Country Honored with Girls’ Night Out Concert


The Academy of Country Music and dick clark productions announced that The Judds and Loretta Lynn will join the slate of previously announced country superstars Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, Jennifer Nettles, Reba McEntire, Carrie Underwood, The Judds and Loretta Lynn will be honored at "Girls’ Night Out: Superstar Women of Country – The Concert of the Year." All honorees are scheduled to perform and be honored at the taping on Monday, April 4, 2011 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and will air on Friday, April 22, 2011, 9-11 p.m. Eastern/Pacific on CBS.

Throughout the concert, each presenter will perform a solo and occasionally duet with their honoree. Duets include Ronnie Dunn with Jennifer Nettles, Rascal Flatts with Reba, Vince Gill with Carrie Underwood, as well as special performances by Jason Aldean and Blake Shelton and more to be announced.

"Girls’ Night Out: Superstar Women of Country – The Concert of the Year" is a special tribute concert featuring an A-list lineup of performers paying respect to today’s most incredible country music female artists, all of whom will be honored with unique accolades from the Academy for special achievements in their careers. Ticket sales from the special will benefit ACM Lifting Lives, the charitable arm of the Academy.

FREMONT STREET EXPERIENCE


The Academy of Country Music is hosting two days of all-star concerts at the Fremont Street Experience in Las Vegas during The Week Vegas Goes Country™.

ACM Weekend on Fremont Street Experience will feature newcomer category nominees, special guests and headliners Ronnie Dunn and Sara Evans performing on two different stages to crowds downtown. The weekend-long party leading up to the 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards will be hosted by three-time ACM On-Air Personality of the Year Award winner Blair Garner, host of After MidNite with Blair Garner, and will feature Sarah Darling, Casey James, Brett Eldredge, Chris Young, Lee Brice and Sara Evans on April 1, 2011 and Thompson Square, the JaneDear Girls, Steel Magnolia, Randy Houser, Easton Corbin and Ronnie Dunn on April 2, 2011. ACM Weekend on Fremont Street Experience is sponsored by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.
