Beginning at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on May 21, 2007 until 5:00 p.m. ET on June 15, 2007 (the “Sweepstakes Period”), you may enter the Great American Country (“GAC”) 2007 “GAC’s Country Music Awards Show Giveaway” sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) in any of the following ways: (i) online by visiting the GAC website ( HYPERLINK “www.gactv.com”) (the “GAC Website”) and completing the online entry form (limit one (1) online entry, per valid email address, per eligible person per day); or (ii) hand printing your name, complete address and phone number either on a postcard or on a separate piece of paper no larger than 8½ x 11 inches, and mailing the postcard or paper to: “GAC’s Country Music Awards Show Giveaway”, P.O. Box 52824, Knoxville, TN 37950. Entrants using US mail may enter as often as they wish. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by June 15, 2007, and received by June 22, 2007. Limit one (1) entry per envelope. Mechanically reproduced or hand-stamped entries or mailing labels or entries generated by script, macro or other automated means will not be accepted. Incorrect, illegible, and incomplete entries are void. These official rules are also available at the GAC Website or by writing to sending a stamped, self-addressed #10 sized envelope (“SASE”) to “GAC’s Country Music Awards Show Giveaway” - Rules Request, P.O. Box 52685, Knoxville, TN 37950. All eligible entries will be entered in the Grand Prize Drawing.
When you enter at the GAC Website, you may be asked to consent to receive promotional e-mails and reminders for upcoming GAC promotions and information about GAC and the Participating Product Sponsors identified below. Consenting to receive such e-mails is optional and does not have to be agreed to in order to be eligible to enter the Sweepstakes and does not improve your chances of winning. Scripps Networks, LLC d/b/a GAC Great American Country (“Main Sponsor”), and all Participating Product Sponsors identified below (collectively with Main Sponsor, the “Sweepstakes Entities”), their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, parent corporations, and their respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees and agents, and any and all Internet servers and access provider(s) are not responsible for: any incorrect or inaccurate entry information; human error; technical malfunctions; failures, omission, interruption, deletion, or defect of any telephone network, computer online systems, computer equipment, server providers, or software, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in this Sweepstakes; inability to access the GAC Website; theft, tampering, destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries; transactions that are processed late or incorrectly or are incomplete or lost due to computer or electronic malfunction or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website; printing or human or other errors; and any entries which are late, lost, incomplete, misdirected, stolen, mutilated, illegible or postage due, or any combination thereof. Proof of mailing, in person submission, or online submission is not considered proof of delivery or receipt. All entries become the property of GAC and will not be returned. A purchase will not increase chance of winning. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, MAIN SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEY’S FEES) FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.
Eligibility: This Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the U.S. and its territories, possessions and commonwealths (excluding Puerto Rico) who are 21 years of age or older on or before May 21, 2007, except employees and members of their households and immediate families (spouses, parents, siblings, children and each of their respective spouses) of GAC as the Main Sponsor and General Motors Corporation, Nashville Convention and Visitors Bureau, Lumber Liquidators, Inc., and all other participating product sponsors (collectively, the “Participating Product Sponsors”), Ritway, Inc., and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, and affiliates, and their advertising and promotion agencies and all local sponsors are not eligible to enter or win a prize. Main Sponsor reserves the right to conduct a background check on any potential prize winner and reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any person based on such background check if Main Sponsor determines in its sole discretion that awarding the prize to such potential prize winner might reflect negatively on Main Sponsor or any of the Participating Product Sponsors. Travel companion of potential Grand Prize Winner must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age or older, unless accompanied by his/her parent or legal guardian, and also must sign a Liability and Publicity Release. By entering, all participants and/or entrants release the Sweepstakes Entities and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, and affiliates, and their respective agents, advertising and promotion agencies, affiliated companies, sweepstakes partners and prize suppliers, and all of their respective affiliated companies, employees, officers, directors and shareholders, from and against all claims and damages arising in connection with each entrant’s participation and/or entry in the Sweepstakes and/or their receipt or use of any prize awarded in this Sweepstakes. This Sweepstakes is governed by U.S. law and is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void in Puerto Rico, outside the U.S. and where prohibited by law.
Grand Prize Drawing: The Grand Prize Winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the entire Sweepstakes Period on or about June 27, 2007 by Ritway, Inc., an independent judging organization (“Sweepstakes Administrator”) and will be contacted by phone and/or overnight delivery service on or about June 29, 2007. The odds of winning the Grand Prize depends upon on the number of eligible entries received for the entire Sweepstakes Period.
Main Sponsor and Sweepstakes Administrator’s decisions with respect to the prize winners and other matters pertaining to the Sweepstakes shall be final and binding. By entering into the Sweepstakes, each entrant consents to the use by Sweepstakes Entities and their designees of his/her name, likeness, biography, voice, performance and/or video in any and all media, including online announcements now or hereafter known, worldwide and without limitation and without additional compensation, notification or permission, except where prohibited by law.
General Conditions: Main Sponsor and Sweepstakes Administrator’s decisions with respect to any prize winners and any other matters pertaining to the Sweepstakes shall be final. The prize winners may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and release of liability and publicity (where permitted), and return same, properly executed, within ten (10) days of issuance of prize notification. If GAC is unable to contact a prize winner within ten (10) days of the initial attempt to contact, if a potential prize winner and/or travel companion fails to complete and return all requested forms by the specified date or if a prize winner fails to comply with any of the requirements, his/her prize will be forfeited and an alternate prize winner shall be selected. By entering into the Sweepstakes, all entrants consent to the use of their name, photograph (including photographs submitted by them to GAC, if applicable), likeness, biography, voice and/or video for advertising and promotional purposes, including online announcements, worldwide and without limitation and without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. The odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received for the applicable drawing.
Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void. If, in the Main Sponsor’s opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of the Sweepstakes, or if computer virus, bugs, unauthorized intervention, fraud, or technical difficulties or failures compromise or corrupt or affect the administration, integrity, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, the Main Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and void any entries submitted fraudulently, to modify or suspend the Sweepstakes, or to terminate the Sweepstakes and conduct a random drawing to award the prizes using all eligible, non-suspect entries received as of the termination date. Should the Sweepstakes be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, notice will be posted on the GAC Website. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of any prize winner based on an e-mail address, the winning entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
Prizes: (A) Grand Prize: One (1) Grand Prize Winner will win the following: (i) one (1) trip to Nashville for Grand Prize Winner and one (1) guest consisting of the following: (a) round trip coach class air transportation for two (2) people between the major U.S. commercial airport nearest Grand Prize Winner’s residence and Nashville; (b) ground transportation between the airport and hotel (the “Hotel”); (c) luxury Hotel accommodations in one (1) double occupancy room for three (3) days/two (2) nights (room rate and tax only); (d) two (2) Music City Star Cards; and (e) two (2) tickets to the Country Music Awards on November 6, 2007 (Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of the trip to Nashville: $3,236.00); and (ii) a Five Hundred Dollars ($500) cash prize for the Grand Prize Winner only. The total ARV of the Grand Prize: $3,736.00).
(B) First Prize: Five (5) First Place Winners will each win the following: one (1) GAC Prize Pack consisting of the following: (a) one (1) GAC blanket tote (ARV: $20); (b) one (1) GAC hat (ARV: $5); (c) one (1) GAC t-shirt (ARV: $6); (d) one (1) GAC travel mug (ARV: $7); (e) one (1) GAC key chain (ARV: $1); (f) one (1) CD opener (ARV: $1); and (g) one (1) Sharpie pen (ARV: $1.50). Total ARV of the First Prizes: ($207.50)

The Hotel accommodations do not include other meals that are not described above, incidentals, tips, telephone calls, or any other personal expenses incurred during the trip. All other expenses not specifically identified as included in the Grand Prize are the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize Winner. Grand Prize Winner and guest must travel the same itinerary and on the dates and/or times specified by Main Sponsor or prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. All prize elements will be awarded directly to the Grand Prize Winner. No payments will be made to third parties. Taxes, gratuities and other expenses not specifically identified in these Official Rules are the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize Winner. Some restrictions may apply. All costs, taxes, fees, and other expenses associated with the acceptance and use of any element of a prize not specifically addressed above are the sole responsibility of the respective winner. All federal, state and local taxes on prize are prize winners’ responsibility. The prize winners will be issued a 1099 tax form for the ARV of the prize. The specifics of all aforementioned elements of any prizes in the Sweepstakes shall be solely determined by Main Sponsor. Prizes cannot be transferred, substituted or redeemed for cash except at Main Sponsor’s sole discretion. Main Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any prize, or portions thereof, with a prize of comparable or greater value if a prize cannot be awarded as described for any reason. All prizes will be awarded.
Winners’ List: Beginning on or about July 6, 2007 you may obtain the name of the Grand Prize Winner, either by going to the GAC Website or mailing a SASE to: “GAC’s Country Music Awards Show Giveaway Winners’ List”, P.O. Box 52685, Knoxville, TN 37950. Requests received after July 27, 2007, will not be honored.
