Country Music Across America

Where has the time gone? This week on Country Music Across America we take a look at just that. Alan Jackson has been very busy since his 1989 splash onto the Country Music Charts and we were there as he recently celebrated 50 million albums sold. Also this week, while Buck Owens may be gone he is certainly not forgotten. Host, Storme Warren visits the icon's adopted home of Bakersfield, Ca. with Martina McBride and the Owens' family as the city celebrates what would have been his 79th birthday. Also this week, Heidi Newfield is hitting the ground running with her first solo project, "What Am I Waiting For," we catch up with her and former bandmate Ira Dean to talk about the past, present and the very bright future.

Plus, newcomer Crystal Shawanda talks about the long road to Nashville from her beginnings on a Canadian Indian Reservation and Montgomery Gentry celebrate their #1 hit "Back When I Knew It All." All this and a whole lot more on Country Music Across America.
