ACM & GAC Presents Taylor Swift

It's rare for a country music newcomer to get the spotlight all to himself or herself for 30 minutes on national TV. But that's exactly what the artists nominated for Academy of Country Music Awards in the "Top New" categories will receive on Great American Country. Host Lorianne Crook features an entire program devoted to Top New Female Vocalist nominee Taylor Swift. The GAC Shortcuts star talks about when she first realized she wanted to be a performer, how she feels about being a role model to young girls and how she's made a name for herself by standing up for herself. Despite being a gold album success at just 17, Swift reveals the one thing she's truly afraid of. The winner of this category will be unveiled during the 42nd Annual Academy of Country Music Awards program on May 15.
