Having a successful country music career isn't easy, but there are plenty of folks who are willing to try. In GAC's new series "Introducing . . . " viewers get the chance to go behind the scenes and meet some of the hot young artists to watch in 2008.
In this premiere episode, Capitol recording artist Luke Bryan invites GAC cameras to his hometown of Leesburg, Ga., for a look at the people and places that helped influence his down-home charm.
He'll take us to the family peanut farm, try out his favorite fishing hole, and reminisce at the local bar where he started his music career while he was still in high school. We also travel to Austin, Texas, for a live show from the energetic performer.
In a candid and revealing interview, Luke talks about his first #1 hit as a songwriter, reveals how tragedy prevented him from moving to Nashville when he was younger and explains why his family insisted that he give music another try.
