Brad Paisley Makes a Video "Waitin' on a Woman"

GAC takes you behind the scenes and on the set with Brad Paisley as he films his latest video "Waitin' on a Women." Watch as Brad teams up with TV legend Andy Griffith to bring this hit song to life.

Paisley has long been known for his award-winning music videos, including the most recent ACM and CMA Video of the Year winner, 'Online,' but working with Griffith was truly a dream come true. "It's one of the things I’ve had on my wish list of things to do," Paisley remarked. "He has influenced my life more than most people that I grew up with — more than most people that I actually knew my whole life. I wrote Andy a letter telling him what he has meant to me over the years and asked him to be in the video."

And the role Griffith was asked to portray – that of a kindly older gentleman imparting wisdom to Paisley's character – was "Taylor-made" for the man who for so many years brought to life the folksy warmth and good-hearted values of The Andy Griffith Show's Sheriff Andy Taylor.

The video tells the story of a lifelong love between Griffith's character and his wife – and while she would often keep him waiting on one occasion or another – their enduring love meant that the waiting was never a chore. Paisley says, "Andy heard the song and wanted to commit to working the long hours necessary to get the video right, and he really adopted this music video as if it was his own."

"Waitin' on a Woman" is now airing on GAC and is currently in GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown.
